Oak Tree Stables is situated alongside Bellurgan Park, with 200 acres of beautiful countryside and 200 acres of ancient woodland at the foot of the Cooley Peninsula.

We offer an ideal location for horse riding, trekking and livery catering for all levels from beginners through advanced.

Lessons:

Our instructors are BHS qualified and our lessons include show-jumping, dressage and cross country. We ensure all riders enjoy their lessons in a safe and fun way. We provide lessons to all levels, beginners to advanced. Through out the year we also run pony camps and show-jumping competitions (mini, midi, maxi).

Trekking:

We offer our clients the most wonderful trekking experience across 250 acres of our private land and through the Cooley Mountains, providing truly breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside.

Livery:

Our livery clients avail of full livery or DIY livery safe in the knowledge their horses are cared for to the highest standards. A lockable tack room for all livery clients is provided.

We are available for all events including birthday parties, school tours, hot food and drinks can be provided.

Hen and stag parties are also welcome with the option of evening treks and BBQ.

We also offer team building exercises through a range of fun and challenging activities designed to build trust and communication.
